#5 Ego Alley

The magnificent Maryland State House is the oldest state capitol that has remained in continuous legislative use. From November 26, 1783 to August 13, 1784 the Continental Congress held their sessions here during the period when Annapolis was the interim capital of the United States.
Scenically situated between Harness Creek and the South River, Annapolis’ Quiet Waters Park is a romantic haven for couples looking for tranquility. Visitors can take a relaxing stroll on trails that wind through quiet forests and beside grassy fields.
The Annapolis National Historic Landmark District contains the city area built during colonial times. Impressive National Historic landmarks, including St. Mary’s Church, the Maryland State House, and the William Paca House and Garden, can be enjoyed by couples on foot.
Perhaps the most frequently visited location in Annapolis, the U.S. Naval Academy is a beautiful campus filled with many romantic places. Couples can take advantage of the free public walking tour.
