Spring is nowhere, and Anne Arundel County is a place where you and your family can have a lot of fun during this season. The following is a time-tested list of Fun Spring Things to Do in Anne Arundel County.
Arundel Mills Mall & Live! Casino
Arundel Mills Mall is the largest retail mall in Maryland, and next to it is the Live! Casino. Considered world-class, it features a 500-seat live-entertainment venue, the Live! Center Stage. For a unique evening, go to the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament for jousting and feasting. You can also catch a movie at state-of the-art theaters, Cinemark Egyptian 24 and XD Movies.
Having thousands of miles of shoreline, Maryland’s waterways include the Chesapeake Bay and four rivers. If you are an angler, you can go fishing at plenty of places or charter a fishing boat to catch a trophy. If you are into exercise, you can kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard instead.
Anne Arundel’s countryside offers pastoral beauty of farmland where horses graze. For America’s colonial past, Historic London Town and Gardens will reveal the “lost” colonial town of London and share a garden sanctuary located on the South River.
The Annapolis Film Festival will run for four days from March to April. Starting in May, the First Sunday Arts Festival is held in Annapolis every first Sunday of the month through October.
